First Quarter Chill Out
Well, I’ve been somewhat lazy in preparing the first quarter report of 2007. To be honest, it’s been unusually a big beginning of the year. Lots to talk about.
In the meantime, here’s the version of Steve Reich’s Vermont Counterpoint that was performed last year at the Whitney Museum. I first heard this as a marimba piece on the Triple Quartet album from Nonesuch. I must say I like the more organic sound of the flute. Sounds like Steve Reich if it were performed by forest creatures.
