Not a Test
Sondre Lerche (right) was one of the impressive talents at the Walt Disney Concert Hall January 8th. A singer/songwriter from Norway, he had lots of charm and some attractive songwriting. He did, however, ramble with his story about his journey from a little town in Norway to New York, but it was weirdly funny and memorable. I wasn’t aware of him before this concert, but now that I’ve read his website, he actually did the song score for the Steve Carrell film Dan in Real Life.
Interesting guy…will keep him on my radar. Below is one of his tracks from the WDCH concert:

He did a terrific job with that soundtrack! He’s always kind of been on my radar before, but this movie pushed his music into my consciousness and onto my playlist. Viva Norway!
